









CSAV, Chile’s leading shipping company with 150 years of history, has a 760 m² headquarters in Santiago. The project integrates a collection of furniture and objects that transforms the space into a kind of museum, complemented by various lounge and meeting areas.
The architectural design organizes a central core with a suspended ceiling to contain technical installations, while the perimeter zones preserve the original concrete ceiling, achieving greater height and a more authentic material expression.
The lighting design aimed to highlight the architecture, enhance the collection, and provide high-quality work lighting. Recessed systems were integrated into the central core, generating indirect light toward the perimeter areas, complemented by flexible track lighting and occasional pendant fixtures.
Two 12-meter showcases for ship models received a specific lighting approach combining a zenithal component and internal frontal lighting. A control system automates scenes, occupancy detection, and daylight management.
