EILD 2019 will orbit around the theme of “COMMUNICATION” generating spaces of co-creation and participation that convey the value of lighting design, developing theoretically and practically staging that will be settled in the city of Colonia.
From 20 and 23 March 2019, the LLD team will attend the EILD, the Ibero-American Encounter of Lighting Design, in Colonia del Sacramento (UY), with the object of learning, reflecting and sharing ideas about the lighting, alongside ibero-American professionals
The structure of the program is based on the combination of talks and workshops that deal with essential topics about lighting design (with light), with activities and interventions where lighting will be used as a mean to communicate (with light).
Renowned international speakers have already confirmed their presence for the Meeting: Mark Major (Speirs and Major, UK), Nathalie Rozot (PhoScope, USA).
In the same way, the activities “WITH LIGHT” and “ABOUT LIGHT” will be guided by renowned lighting designers that will draft fundamental topics such as natural light, light perception, the creative process, urban lighting, memory among others.
